Hy!
I have an incomprehensible problem during one of the VM backup over SAN. I have a VMware environment, there is a shared storage datastore where the 35 VMs is located. There is a backup job which contain 35 VMs. All VMs backup speed is acceptable, the transferred backup size is about 2-3Gb/VM and the backup time avarage 10 minutes, expect one VM. This VM backup time is very high, its about 3-4 hour in every day. I don't understand what cause this high backup time only this one VM. I think the storage IO problem, but this problem why doesn't apply for other VMs?! Do you have any idea, how can I identify the source problem?
Thanks.

Re: One of th VM slow backup in SAN network
Hi Adam
Please check the bottleneck.
For the "Why", open a support case and let our support team analyze the log files of your backup server. We cannot troubleshoot environmental specific issues over the forum. Logs should tell about the bottleneck for this VM ad if there were any issues.
Don't forget to share the case number with us.
Best,
Fabian
