Periodically Schedule

Post by handian.sudianto »

Hello,
When we set the backup job to running every 12 hours, how we can set the initial start time?
I want the job run on 12AM and 12PM every day.

Hi Handian

The initial start time for the periodic scheduler is 12 AM. The user guide provides this answer already.
The start time is set automatically to 12:00 if you create a periodic job.

A repeatedly run job is started by the following rules:

Veeam Backup & Replication always starts counting defined intervals from 12:00 AM. For example, if you configure to run a job with a 4-hour interval, the job will start at 12:00 AM, 4:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and so on.
I want to share a small trick with you. If you are configuring a specific feature in the backup console, just press F1. Your default internet browser will open the corresponding user guide pages where this particular step is explained.
Or give our AI assistant a try. Both will help you to answer almost all questions about our product.

Best,
