Planned Failover

Post by itops »

Hello everyone I've run a planned failover of replica. Before it starts I've changed the vm (create a test file), and I was expecting that when the planned failover finishes and the vm starts at the DR site, the file exists. But the file does not exist on the replica vm.

Is this correct?

Hi Juan, your understanding is correct. During planned failover, Veeam B&R performs replication of the final changes, so the file should exist on replica when it starts. I suggest you contacting technical support to verify whether you did everything correctly.
