Hi all.
I've just migrated from Veeam B&R v5 to v6 and I notice that my Veeam VM continually undergoes "reconfigure virtual machine" in the vmware recent tasks list.
Version 5 didnt do this (as far as I recollect) - is this correct and what is the VM doing during this process (I am using direct SAN backup, so my assumption was that the Veeam server would consult the snapshot file and rip the required data from it's access to the SAN).
Regards.

Re: Reconfigure Virtual Machine Task
Hi George, the cause of this event is virtual disk hot add operation. It looks like the backup proxy on your Veeam VM uses the virtual appliance processing mode for certain VMs, because direct SAN access is not available for some disks of those VMs. Thanks.
