Hello,

Could you advise on the best process to move away from a single console/management server, to having the management console located on a VM that connects back to the same server that has the data repository previously (which is physical and connected in Direct SAN mode)

Can we moved the SQL database and retain the jobs, and then simply reconfigure the targets/proxies thereafter?

Could you please clarify the entire redesign scenario, why do you need to move the SQL database? The basic scenario would be to upgrade the backup server to v9 and then just install remote console anywhere you need it.
