Hi
I have a backup job that is starting to have too long a duration to complete before people meet in at the office start working. The job is backing up VM’s on two VMware 5.1 hosts (HOST1 and HOST3) to a NAS storage device (gigabit). Last night my job was running for 10:51 hours and was processing 1.4 TB with a processing rate at 5 MB/s.
Load: Source 18% > Proxy 9% > Network 5% > Target 94%
Veeam Backup & Replication 7.0.0.871 is running on a Windows 7 Professional located on HOST1. The bottleneck seems to be my target and I guess that means that my NAS storage is the bottleneck.
What can I do to improve my backup performance?

Re: Reduce bottleneck -> Target
Thomas, you're right in interpreting the bottleneck stats.
What is the backup mode for this job? Forward or reverse incremental? What kind of NAS is it and how do you add it to Veeam B&R?
