Hi guys,
I am trying to use replica seed from a backup repository which only contains data from one Backup Copy job.
When I try to replica however it fails with message "Cannot find VM in the backup file specified for seeding".
The backup repository does in fact contain a backup copy job with 5 restore points for this specific VM.
Is this a non-supported configuration?

Hi Rasmus,
Have you tried to seed a replica manually?
If it doesn`t work for you as well, please contact Veeam support team.

Re: Replica seed from Backup Repository?
Rasmus, do you see the corresponding metadata file (VBM) in the repository, along with the backup you use for seeding? Seeding from backup file produced by the backup copy job is totally supported and should work, so if VBM is in place, it would be appreciated if you could investigate the reasons of the error with technical support. Thanks.
