Dear all,
we are running B&R 6.5 under Windows 2008 where iSCSI disks were used for the repositories.
Recently we got this error:
Error: Client error: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. Failed to open file
[F:\VEEAM_BACKUP\..\..vbk] in readonly mode.
After that we used the Check Disk utility ie 'chkdsk /f F:' and started the backup again but
unfortunately we see another error:
Error: Client error: Storage not initialized. Failed to backup text locally
Since we can create for instance a new folder in F:\VEEAM_BACKUP by the Explorer we are
now confused. Any idea what's wrong here?
Thx in advance for any help!
Rainer

Re: Repository crash?
Rainer, I strongly recommend to contact support directly, as it is advised to do with all technical issues. Is there a chance that the backup chain was somehow modified outside Veeam B&R or the backup file was locked? Also, some storage glitch could be the reason of the error.
