Hi all,
I tried to restart a backup job after doing the restore. But I got an error " Object with reference 'vm-number' was not found in hierarchy cache.
Does any way to restart the backup job instead of creating a new one ?
Thanks

Re: restart backup job after restore
when you restore full vm , it deletes the old server object and create a new with a new id , so you have to make at new backup job
not sure it this good advice or not , but i usually just restore vm disk/s if i have screwed up a server, then it just restores the disks and keep the same id so i avoid making new backup job
