Hello all.
I am contacting to Veeam support about restore failed.
Case # is 03519522
The registry [DataMoverLocalFastPath] has been added and the value has been set to 0, as a shared memory error has occurred from the support team.
As a result, the error was resolved and the restore was successful.
However, the following error occurred when performing a 30TB of VM's disk restore.
-----------
2019/06/25 22:27:18 Error Failed to restore file: IZK-TFSV_4-flat.vmdk Error: NFC server [10.11.224.12] is busy.
Processed file: [[datastore1] Restore-IZK-TFSV / IZK-TFSV_4-flat.vmdk]. Size of the processed data: [2051363807232]. Size of the file: [32985348833280].
Unable to receive file.
Exception from server: write: An existing connection has been forcibly disconnected by the remote host.
-----------
Please let me know the cause of this error and the workaround.
Thank you.

Re: Restore failed
Hello,
please understand that the forum does not replace support.
There are several reasons why NFC errors can occur (often network / firewalls etc.).
Please continue working with support. They are the only ones who can find the cause because they have the logfiles.
Best regards,
Hannes

Re: Restore failed
Potentially it helps if you increase buffer size
You can optimze the ESXI Network (NBD) performance by increasing the NFC buffer size from 16384 to 32768 and optimize the Cache Flush interval from 30s to 20s by VMware KB 2052302 http://kb.vmware.com/kb/2052302
