Scaleout over 4 repositories with same share NAS

I have this idea:

-4 proxy and repositories with the same folder share in my NAS \\NAS\repo
-After I create one ScaleOut "ScaleOut_NAS" with for Proxy\Repo.
- After I configure proxy affinity for repo (same proxy for same repo)

When I run the first backup, I viewed that the my backup use Hotadd or nbd ramdon and the this error show me for any few Vm:

16/04/2020 11:14:07 :: Processing sam Error: An unexpected network error occurred.
Failed to write data to the file [\\NAS\repo\vm1.vm-175D2020-04-17T141401_BC2C.vbk].
Failed to download disk 'vm1-flat.vmdk'.
Shared memory connection was closed.
Failed to upload disk.
Agent failed to process method {DataTransfer.SyncDisk}.

Is it possible use one scaleout with 4 vm with use the same share?

It is not allowed to present the same folder to Veeam on multiple Repositories or SOBR Extends.
You need to create subfolder for each Extend (or Repository).

I guess the reason is to load balance the Veeam traffic accross multiple NAS nodes as we open connections only to one node usually based on Windows connection settings (DNS/CIFS).

Let´s first correct your SOBR configuration and then see if your backup runs then without issues.

ok, it work now, but the performance is the same if I use one reposotorie connect to smb share that I use the SOBR with 4 repositories connect to the same SMB share. is it normally?

What system do you us for the NAS Server and how did you have selected the Gateway Servers ?
