Specifying a target host for an nfc session

Recently I have had an issue with veeam connecting to the wrong "Target Host" when "Connecting to NFC session". This happened recently, and on its own.

e.g I try and backup a server located on 10.0.1.4, yet veeam looks for the .vmx file on 10.0.1.3, thus the entire backup fails.

So my question: Is there a way to manually specify what host veeam should connect to when starting a backup job?

This should not be happening, and this actually looks like environmental issue to me... may be there is something wrong with DNS? Feel free to open a support case if you need help with troubleshooting, these kind of issues cannot be efficiently investigated through the forum posts. Thanks.
