I currently use a Veeam infrastructure made up of several vSphere hosts using the standard license for the whole of the CPUs of the vsphere hosts.
I need to perform some tests about features available only in the Enterprise version.
How can I get a trial license for the whole of my vSphere servers (otherwise, can I install the Enterprise features only on a limited number of servers?), install it in place of my current Standard license, perform the test I want to perform?
If at the end of the trial license I don't install a retail Enterprise license, can I go back to my current Standard version without any problems (and without using the unlicensed Enterprise features)?
Is there any document describing the procedure to install the trial license and downgrade to the Standard one?
Regards
marius

Re: Testing enterprise features
Hello Marius,
You may get the trial from the website or your sales representative.
By default trial keys have 32 sockets.
If you want to try it in the sandbox, it should be enough. Otherwise you can ask sales rep to increase the default sockets number for you.
How many sockets do you have? (PM me if needed)
Thanks!
