TrueCrypt and Windows File Restore

Post by dday515 » Mar 20, 2014 12:01 am

Once I've encrypted a VM with TrueCrypt, Veeam loses the ability to restore host files (which makes 100% complete sense) - Are there any workarounds for this, however? maybe a plugin that would allow Veeam to be able to read an encrypted machines files (when supplied with the correct password?).

Anyone else done anything similar, and have any tips/tricks they'd like to shrae?

Well...you can try using Instant VM Recovery to restore Guest OS files, should do the trick.
