Veeam and different vlan's

Post by Joahaug » Jul 24, 2019 6:17 pm

I have a question about Veeam B&R and different vlan's. Lets say I have Veeam B&R installed on a server and I have some VM's on a different host.

Veeam: vlan1
VM host: vlan1
VM's on host: vlan2

Will Veeam be able to back up the machines on this host?

Yes, since Veeam does host-level backups for VMs, as opposed to in-guest agent-based backups. Thanks!
