I recently had to restore my veeam server from backup. Both backups and restores seem to be working fine after the restore. One thing though is I know during the original Veeam install storage was created on my ESXi server that was called VeeamBackup_servername. That is missing now. Since I'm not entirely sure what it was used for and my backups and restores are working is this something I need to worry about? Sorry If this is a dumb question but I'm not that knowledgeable on Veeam.
Thanks in advance

Re: VeeamBackup_servername missing on ESXi server
Hi,
You should be fine. This datastore is used when doing Instant VM Recovery or SureBackup process, it will be re-created after you start using these features again.
Thanks!
