Great information thanks, I have very basic question i just started. we have 3 physical server each has 2 socket, running 6 VMs 2 on each physical server using VMware Essential . For Virtual lab do i need exact same hardware and VM configuration ? also Is okay to create lab on standard Vmware. this part in not clear to me if someone can help me please.

You do not need to have the same hardware to run Virtual Labs, as we are storage and hardware agnostic, so your scenario should run just fine. Thanks!
