Vmware 5.5 update 3b known issue's?

Post by b.vanhaastrecht »

Goodmorning,

Yesterday, VMware silently posted a new revision B of its update 3 of vSphere 5.5. Has Veeam tested this version yet?

Kind Regards,
Bastiaan

Didn't get a chance yet, all QA resources are currently thrown at the v9 release.

5.5 u3b ?!?!

NOTE to others. This disabled SSLv3 by default. ALWAYS update vCenter before your hosts, with this update in particular if you don't vCenter will fail to communicate to your host. Nobody wants that.

We did not test it yet, however all of the issues that were caused by disabled SSLv3 are already fixed in v8 Update 3 (as vSphere 6 already had this change implemented earlier, in its Update 1).
