VMware ESXi 6.7 - Veeam - Freenas

Hopefully someone might be able to help me out please.

I have a VMware ESXi 6.7 host. I have connected this up via iSCSI to Freenas. From the ESXi host i am able to read and write to the iSCSI datastore with no issues. However i am trying to restore a VM from backup to this iSCSI datastore. When doing this i get the error message

15/07/2019 17:26:40 Error    Restore job failed Error: Unable to process vm on target host [ha-host] and datastore [5d2b9aa4-e71574f1-b534-001cc448cfed]: target host or datastore are unavailable

Any ideas?

Can close this. The host was in maintenance mode. Its not very clear from the Veeam console that this was the case.
