When do Exchange logs get truncated?
We have a nightly incremental backup scheduled for an Exchange server VM, configured to do a full backup each Tuesday night. Can someone please tell me when the Exchange logs get truncated? Is it every night, or just after the full backup?

Re: When do Exchange logs get truncated?
Hi Peter,
Transaction logs truncation is trigger during every backup job run. Make sure that you got this option properly set at guest processing step of backup job wizard. Thanks.

Re: When do Exchange logs get truncated?
Thanks, I can see that it mentions truncating each night in the job history, I was just making sure.
Our issue is that we had some disk corruption on our mail server, and the mail store has been corrupted on the last two Tuesday nights. I was wondering if it was due to corrupted logs being committed before truncation, or something like that. It could just be coincidence, but we can't think what else would trigger it on the same day of the week twice.
