When process Veeam backup , virtual machine is migrate to other host

Hi, all

I have a problem with veeam backup stops at 'Creating VM snapshot' step.
This happens only for certain VMs out of many.

In vCenter, the task for that VM can see that the host is migrate but stopped at 14%, so snapshot creation does not start at 0%.
DRS is 'partially' option and does not process automatic Migrate.

Checking the Veeam log does not generate any logs after 'Create a snapshot'.

Has anyone experienced this situation? I need your help.

Hello,
it's not possible to do migrations and backups at the same time. For a vMotion that should not be an issue. The default retry setting 3x every 10min should cover that.

For a storage vMotion, where the migration can take long time, the retry window might be too small.

All of that has nothing to do with Veeam. It's just how the VMware based backup works.
