False Positive Orphaned Snapshot

Hi,

Occasionally when I have a backup job running, I will get Error - Orphaned VM Backup Snapshot, followed shortly (5-30 minute) by Reset/Resolved. I looked at the alert times versus the backup times and I will get the error while the vdisk is still being read (after the snapshot is taken), and then after the snapshot is deleted I get the reset/resolved. The behavior appears like ONE doesn't know that B&R is still running. I typically get this on my bigger vm's (file servers, exchange...)

Hmm...you're on the latest version, so false-positive alarms should not be observed. Can you please contact our support team and let me your ticket number, so that I could discuss it with the dev team?
