Does the Endpoint backup support backup to NAS (Netgear RNDU6000 Pro)
It seems like forever> How long should this take?

How did you present this storage to your Endpoint machine? If it is exposed as CIFS share, then it is fully supported. Can you please open a support case and let us take a look at the log files?

It could be permission related. Make sure that you can read/write to the shared path using the credentials that you supplied VEB.

Try putting in your path using the ip instead of name.

\\192.168.1.20\<Your backup share name> (Replace 192.168.1.20 to the IP of you local NAS device)

Some VPN tunnels when configured as such can redirect all traffic out the VPN. You can try doing a trace route to the local NAS device by IP/DNS name when connected to the VPN and see if you get there. If you do, then it shouldn't be the VPN.

Do you write any 3rd party data to this box at the same time by any chance?

Wim,

Please create a support call through the email system. The logs will help us very much in seeing what the problem is and I hope they can find what is causing the issue

Thanks

Mike
