Repository backup only lists "Default" Backup Repository

Post by cbaksa »

Possible bug?

When attempting to create a backup job to a Veeam Backup and Replication 8 repository (with Update 2) Endpoint backup only finds and displays the "Default" Repository (which is not used)
It fails to show the Repository that resides on the NAS.

Have you setup your repository permissions in VBR -> http://helpcenter.veeam.com/endpoint/10 ... sions.html

Interesting... So even tho I was using the Service account that VBR already knows about and uses... I still had to add it here for endpoint backup.
Its working now.

Thanks

Chris,
Glad you nailed it!
Service account that VBR already knows about and uses
By default, all VBR repositories are disabled for access for all the users to avoid any “uncontrolled connections“.
