This VM does not have any restore points

Post by hyvokar »

Hi!

I have warnings in Veeam One for all my virtual machines "This VM does not have any restore points".
However, when I check the VBR, all the virtual machines has several restore points and all the jobs has been completed succesfully.

Any ideas how to solve this?

I'm running VBR&VOne v8, with latest update. The same problem was with Patch#1 also.

Hi!
Does Data Protection View in Veeam One Monitor show the latest restore points correctly?
Have you received any errors/warnings about data integration between Veeam One and VBR? Thanks!

Do you have vCenter Server or ESXi hosts added to the Veeam ONE console? Do you have the same structure in Veeam B&R?

HI!

I'm not running vcenter in this environment. I have added the esxi host in veeam one console and in vbr.
In the Data Protection View latest restorepoints (from midnight) shows correctly and they update correctly (just run a test backup)
I have received no data integration errors, only topology and connection errors when I reboot the server (vOne and vbr are on the same servers and the vbr services start slooooow...)

Thanks for the reply, hyvokar.
Since Data Protection View works fine, I suppose that Veeam One database consists valid values.
Could you provide a screenshot of the alarm?
Thanks!

How old is the latest restore point for this VM and what RPO period do you have configured in the alarm settings? If you resolve this alarm, does it pop up again?

Hi!

If I resolve the alarms, they pop back up immediatly.
Latest restorepoint is now about 12h old. I configured the RPO in the alarm setting to 72 hours, but it didnt have any effect.

It seems like the restore point can't be detected, that's strange. Can you open a support case with our team?
