Updating to new version via control panel

Post by cffit »

I'm informed there is a newer version of VEEAM Endpoint Backup from within the system tray control panel. I choose to upgrade, and it just sits and spins and says installing, but never installs. If I exit VEEAM Endpoint Backup and re-open it, it still shows "Installing...". My backups still work and run, but it seems as though the update process does not work for me.

I restarted the service, then opened the application and went to the tab to update, and it was already saying "Installing..." again, and is never finishing.

Ok, another plan check the folder C:\Windows\Temp\VeeamUpdates (or something similar). Does it contain the installer app?
