Post by Cragdoo »

Has anyone else encountered this issue , where above task seems to take hours (well over 4 hours in this case?)

Hi Craig,

Never seen that, what is the Windows box you're creating this recovery media for? If you retry the operation, does it also take so long?

Thanks!

Hi Craig,
In addition to Vitaliy’s questions I wonder what is the target for Recovery Media?

Win 10 pro. Same if I cancel and restart. Saving to network folder.
Ive just reset the pc so I'll see if it does it again after reseting.

If it does, I will submit a ticket

Can you check if such performance remains if you save the .iso locally (want to avoid the connectivity issues on the first place)?

It appears to be a network issue as if I save locally it completes with no issues , but other PCs on the same network managed to backup to the network folder ok ???

Might be firewall or access permissions – check if the affected machine can access the needed location (i.e. read/write files in the location). You may need to type in the correct access account in the Recovery Media Wizard
