VeeamOne Settings will not open

We moved the Veeam One databeses to a new SQL server and now VeeamOneSettings.exe wont open anymore.
The error i Get is:

Login failed for user '<username>'.

I can only click OK then and thats all.
Is there any config file or reg entry, where I am able to configure this user?

Hi Sven,

Are you trying to open it from the UI or from this location - "c:\Program Files\Common Files\Veeam\Veeam ONE Settings\VeeamOneSettings.exe"?

it gives the same error both times, regardless if I try it from the path or from the UI.

Hi,

just to keep you all up to date.
Support gave me new VeeamOneSettings files and I replaced the existing files in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Veeam\Veeam ONE Settings with the new ones from support.
After this the VeeamOneSettings.exe was able to start again.

Hmm... I have reviewed your article, good job! However, changing database location shouldn't cause this error message, I will ask our QA team to confirm this behavior. Thanks!

I agree and I think, this is an encryption/decryption issue because when I've replaced the file with another version, I had to change DB user's password on VeeamONESettings.exe.
