Veeam B&R testing
Hi everyone
Testing Veeam B&R on a Win10 Pro computer on a local network behind a firewall, using a local HDD repo and a OVH Veeam Cloud Connect repo.
Source is a vSphere 6 server hosted in a datacenter having a public IP address. Accessible with vSphere Client.
I can backup to the local HDD repo, but not to OVH Veeam Cloud Connect.
Am I missing something? Do I need to open any ports on the firewall to make this possible?
Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Hi! Yes, you need to open a port that you specify when adding OVH as a service provider in the firewall. Thanks!

Hi Gostev no port was specified, also I don't know where I should do this, can you elaborate?
I only received a hostname + username & password from OVH. Nothing else.

The port that was specified while you were adding service provider.
Here're the entire used port requirements for Veeam Cloud Connect environment.

Actually, most of these ports are for service providers only.
As far as tenant concerned, they only need a single port.

Ask them which external port they've opened on a cloud connect gateway? This will be the port you need to connect to. By default, it's 6180, but they might have changed that. Thanks.
