Hello,
My backup is 20% lighter than V8! Thanks!
But the tape was not ejected at the end of the job
May be the second bug?

Could you specify if it is a backup(not file) to tape job and if it was newly created in v9 or upgraded from v8?

It's an upgrade from V8 and it's a file backup (i've got std edition).

If the issues started happening after upgrade, it's certainly worth contacting support team for further investigation.

The problem appairs also with a new job
I've just tested it.

We are also having this issue. Occurs with tape inventory, as well as the new GFS job we set up. Have not tested an old job because my old jobs are deleted. Started after upgrade to v9

I saw this behavior the other day, have not run multiple jobs to replicate and isolate yet. Tossed it off as a fluke. I think it was a manually triggered job.

Hi Dima,
I did open a case that seemed to have fizzled out and I did not get the hot fix. I really stopped pursuit in this case and being as insistent as I would normally have been because I was under the impression that there was an incoming patch for last week.

I created a support case a few days ago and the answer to this problem was that it will be solved with the next patch only. It looks like there will be no hot fix for this.

I can confirm that the 'Eject media on job completion' doesn't work in a 'File to Tape Backup' Job and this is a completely new installation of VBR 9.x here.
Waiting for the first VBR 9.x patch now!
