Hi Peter, please try to temporarily change the date on that server for the duration of repository installation (to February, 28, for example).

Thank you foggy, a few minutes ago I tried installing a brand new Veeam v9 at a customer's and got the same error during installation: "Error occurred during certificate processing.". Changing the date to february 28 allowed me to successfully complete the installation!

Yep, the issue affects installation of any Veeam B&R components. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Tried to set date to 28.2.2016, no luck at all.
Still error message "Error occured during certificate processing"

Uninstalled everything regarding Veeam, stopped Windows Time Service to prevent switch back to actual date.

What can i do to install Veeam Backup & Replication 9 today?

Likewise. 2 failures, then pushed the date back to the 28th and it then upgraded from v8 to v9 as expected.

Just ran into this also on an 8 to 9 upgrade, had to uninstall 8 to recover from the issue and am rebooting now. In a way it's a little funny to run into a bug like this on a standard leap year (the next exception to leap year is in 2100 -- that will be the next next gen's problem), but also a little scary given what Veeam's job is. I hope there are no hiccups with backups today or restoring from backups from today.

Thanks for this. I just received my licenses and was doing a fresh install on a new server. I had it installed on another with the trial key. I just knew I did something wrong. Just finished install while typing this.

Huge thanks again!

The Enterprise Manager upgrade worked fine however when it tried to upgrade Veeam Backup & Replication Console it failed with the same reported error.
Your inputs in this forum post helped to fix the issue and saved some valuable time. Thanks.
