WAN Accelerator for replication

Post by leduke »

Hello.

I Have site A with proxy veeam / WAN Accelerator and production virtual machine. Site B with veeam server and WAN accelerator for offsite replication.
When you use WAN accelerator for backup, you have to populate the WAN accelerator from the backup repository.
How does it works with replication ???

Thank you.

Alex, the global cache will be populated during the first cycle of a replication job. If you want to pre-populate the cache, you can consider seeding it from your source location.

Ok Thank you very much !

Must it specify in the job "optimize for WAN Target" if I use WAN accelerator ?

Thanks

In case of WAN accelerated replica, storage optimization settings don't play essential role and affect storing of replica metadata only.
