appliance log files in backup folder

Post by LukeAd »

In addition to the normal VBK/VIB/VBM files, a few of our users also have ZIP files in their backup target folder that are named like this:

appliance_log_24-03-2016_01-56-30.zip
appliance_log_24-03-2016_03-15-30.zip

What are these for, and can I delete them?

These are the logs that could be needed for support if you run into an issue. If endpoint is however running fine you can remove these :-)

True. Veeam Recovery Media keeps its own logs in the backup repository once you start the Bare Metal Restore.
