Limiting the Number Tasks isn't right working

Hi , All

Limiting the Number Tasks isn't right working .

For example : Limiting the Number of Concurrent Tasks was set 8 , but the backup process show only 4 VM Guest was backup .
The proxy server was set 8*2=16vCPU,and each VM guest have one Vmdk disk .

Why not 8 VM guest was backup at the same time ?

How many backup jobs have been started simultaneously? How many VMs do those jobs have? How many virtual disks combined? Also, what is maximum concurrent tasks number specified in the target repository settings? Thanks.

only 1 backup policy .

How many VMs do those jobs have?

20 VMs .

How many virtual disks combined?

each VMs have 1 vdisk .

Also, what is maximum concurrent tasks number specified in the target repository settings?

set up 8

Are there any other configured limits, such as on the repository?

Are all these VMs on the same host or datastore?

Repository was set limit 8 tasks .

And all the VMs on the same datastore but doesn't on the same host .
