Stop License Push from Enterprise Manager

Post by cardendave »

Hi All

We are an MSP and provide Veeam to our clients. We use Enterprise Manager on our Azure server to monitor the backups of these clients across the internet, purely for checking the backup results in one place and no other reason. We also have Veeam Cloud Connect services on the same machine and Enterprise Manager keeps pushing our Cloud Connect license to our clients obviously causing our backups to fail. Is there any way to block this behaviour? As all of our clients have their own license and all renew at different times, so we do not wish to deploy the same file to them all.

Help appreciated.

Hi Dave, I see that our support engineer has shared a solution with you and now you can address your scenario. On a side note, if you would like to monitor remote backup servers and give multi-tenant web based portal to your clients, then take a look at our latest announcement of Veeam Managed Backup Portal.

The release is scheduled to H1 this year, currently TP is available for trialing/testing purposes in Azure. This product will require VCSP membership, since you're an MSP then you can also use it.

It might be worth referring to the case provided above within your ticket, so that your engineer doesn't spend too much time finding an applicable solution. Thanks.
