System/hidden partitions not showing up
When I go into the 'Volume Backup' mode and check the "Show system and hidden volumes" check box, none of the system/hidden partitions show up. All I see are my primary drive letters, C:, G:, and H.
I'm concerned that since those partitions are not showing up and I cannot select them for inclusion, that I will not be able to perform a bare metal restore.
This is a Windows 7 x64 machine and I have used other backup software that does see the partitions, so I know they are there.
The reason I am using the Volume backup is because I only want C: and the system partition to be backed up, I do not want my other drives included.
I have tried to use the 'Report an issue' option through the software, but it says my email address is not valid, so I click 'register', it sends me a verification email, I follow the directions, come back and try again but it still tells me my email is invalid.
Please fix your email registration system so that I can use the 'Report an Issue' to submit reports via that channel as well.

Yes, it is the same email address that is attached to my forum account here. When I login here, I login with my username 'chaycock', not my email address, however, my account profile has my email address listed.

Re: System/hidden partitions not showing up
Glad to hear you were able to open a support case. Regarding the issue, can you clarify what volumes you see in your disk manager and what volumes are missing under volume level backup?

Re: System/hidden partitions not showing up
As I said, the "System Reserved" volume is not showing up, only the driver letters. When looking in disk manager, everything shows up. Also, if the "System Reserved" volume was missing, the computer would not boot, so I know it is there.

Thank you. Need to check the logs, so kindly keep working with the support team. I've asked QA team to check your case as well.

Re: System/hidden partitions not showing up
chaycock,
Can you do us a favor and share a screenshot of disk part outputs? To start disk part, open a command prompt type in diskpart. Run the following commands:
1. list disk
It should display the list of your volumes. Make a screenshot
2. list volume
It should display the list of your partitions. Make a screenshot

Re: System/hidden partitions not showing up
That’s good - thanks. According to this output your OS does not have system reserved partition at all, so I assume your operating system is booted directly from the volume C.

Re: System/hidden partitions not showing up
The odd thing is, when you look at Disk Management, you do see a 100mb partition, although it says "unallocated".
Also, for future reference, if I want to post a screenshot in the forum (a graphic image), how do I go about doing that?

Re: System/hidden partitions not showing up
Unallocated space is an empty space on your drive. System Reserved, EFI or any recovery partition are displayed as a regular partition with some space being occupied.
