How do I link Sure Backup jobs?

Post by KeithGriffith »

During DR testing, I have ~10 servers in the sure backup job. I have an issue with one of the jobs intermittently failing with a"mot ipv4 address" error, which kills the whole job.
I need to run a surebackup job that starts 3 servers, then links to another sure backup job that starts 2-4 servers... to allow us to move forward on a failure.

How can i make this happen?

Ideally, the root cause of the error should be addressed, unless you'd prefer a workaround instead. By doing so, you'd also know what to expect in the real restore scenario, as this behavior would be seen there.
If you're looking to daisy chain the jobs, it's been discussed here
