Get-VBRBackup broken in 9.5U1?
Case: #02100081
Hello @all
After updating from Veeam B&R 9.0 to 9.5U1 it seems that the Powershell CMDLet Get-VBRBackup is not working anymore.
Error-Message: Get-VBRBackup : Unable to substract path I:|Backups from H:|Backups|XXX - Backup VMware DC01. Roots are different.
Does anyone has this problem too?

Re: Get-VBRBackup broken in 9.5U1?
Personally I haven't seen this issue before. Also, the problem does not look to be PowerShell specific. I think it can be reproduced with simple SQL query (similar to what the said cmdlet does).
So, ask support engineer not to close ticket immediately due to our general support policy, according to which no assistance is provided with scripting.
Thanks.

Seems to be a database issue due to the upgrade. I got the same error when I tried to collect support information in Veeam Console.
The support agent wrote, that this could be a known bug in V9.5.

Under certain circumstances product db might get messed up, and certain modifications (done typically by support engineer) are needed. Thanks. Is there any update on this bug?

Re: Get-VBRBackup broken in 9.5U1?
We are running 9.5 update 2 (9.5.0.1038) and just encountered this isssue.
We are using backup to rotated hard drive repository.
I tried a few things like moving the vbk and vbm file around and changing the drive letter on the USB drive and changing the repository type to a non rotated drive but still unable to import or open backup file for guest file restore.
Has this issue been fixed in any recent update? Should I log a support case before upgrade or can I upgrade first then if the issue remains log a case?
