Tape Backup Devices - network

Post by infused »

Hi Guys.

Are there any standalone tape drives or libraries that are able to be connected via network instead of the traditional sas->server technology? If not, what newer technology could you recommend for off-site storage?

Hi Hayden,
You can connect the tape device via iSCSI (you can use Microsoft iSCSI initiator to establish the connection).
Thanks
