Why Veeam.Endpoint.Service.exe is sending data thru the net

Post by dejudicibus »

It looks like Veeam.Endpoint.Service.exe and Veeam.Endpoint.Tray.exe sends a lot of data, periodically, even if Veeam Backup is inactive.
Any idea why?

Well, yes, but no solution is provided. I use Veeam to back my data once a week on an external drive. It makes no sense such an activity when the drive is not connected and the application is not launched. I expect any service stay in idle mode.

This behavior is by design and its mechanics is explained in the abovementioned topic. Unfortunately, there is no way to change that in the current version.
