Viewer role Access Denied

We are using Veeam BNR 9.5 Update 2 and we've assigned Veeam Backup Viewer roles to some users. When they try to connect to Veeam via Console, they receive Access Denied. If we give them operator, it works but Viewer doesn't however it should grant them Read-Only permissions. Anyone Else having this issue?

Hi,

First: Welcome to the forums.
Second: No, I have not seen this issue personally. I assume you have followed the instructions here: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... tml?ver=95 so if that doesn't work I would ask you to contact support. Post the case ID here and the follow-up after that also

Here's the funny part, support told me they just heard of it and to post on Forums lol. Here is their reply:

We have just recently became aware of this issue and we are trying to find out exactly what is causing it as it seems to be related to update 2 however we have not been able to confirm that.

We have internal posts on this but you are free to create forum posts on your own to see if you can find an answer as well.

Please let me know if you find anything and/or if you need anything while we look into this.

Please also create a support call. I hope that this can be confirmed as a bug (if it is not already) and the more logs we have, the better for us to investigate.

Does anyone know if this was fixed in Update 3? I can't see any mention of it in the release notes.

Hello Matthew.

Usually all the fixes are incorporate in the latest version. To be sure please open a support case and check with the support team (they either share a fix for old version or confirm that this issue is resolved completely in Update 3). Thank you.
