Error enabling encryption at media pool

Hi,
I am using Veeam 9.5 with an IBM Ultrium HH4 Tape drive. Everything is when without encryption. But if I enable the encryption at the media pool I get the following error message and nothing is written to the tape

"Full backup: BackupSrvFileToTape failed Tape fatal error. Das Medium ist schreibgeschützt Tape write error Exception from server: Shared memory connection was closed. Tape fatal error."

The media is at the correct pool and free - no protection...

Where could be the problem and how can I enable the encryption?

Are those ordinary tapes or, say, WORM ones? Anyway, may I ask you to reach our support team for further investigation? Don't forget to post a ticket number, once a case is open, so that we can follow it. Thanks.

No WORM and the case is created: #02205881

And write protection switched is not locked? In this case, working with support team is the recommended approach indeed.

No the tape was not locked and the problem was that I used an existing tape which I not deleted before I change the pool configuration.
After that the job works fine...

So, the tape was written as a part of old mediaset (which had tape protection option enabled). Anyway, thanks for coming back and updating the topic; appreciated.
