Specific schedule

Hello there.
I need to adjust specific schedule for particular backup job: backup every day at 11:30, 14:30 and at 19:00. However, I couldn`t find the appropriate option. Is it even possible or should I use few backup jobs?

Hi,

Separate jobs will create separate backup chains which might be not very convenient. I'd stick with a Windows task scheduler to start the job at the desired times. Another option is to use Backup Window combined with "Run periodically every 3 hours" option.

I really can`t understand the conception of this option. Which time would the job start? At 00:00, then 03:00, then 06:00, etc?
And if I want to make 5 hours interval, then job would start at 00:00, then 05:00, then 10:00, then 15:00, then 20:00, then 01:00 of the next day, etc. Am I right?

If I get it right, I actually can schedule job to run every hour with such permissions and the job will start at 11:30, 14:30 and 19:30.

You're getting this right, so I'd stick to the Task Scheduler, since with this option you're not getting exactly what you're after.
