Replication not work correctly

Hi

i have get a full backup from my virtual machine and put it on product site now when i want replicate that vm
in replication wizard (select Repository for replica metadata) select that place is vm backup on production site and in Get seed from the following backup repository select path from DR site now when want start job it will be fail

but when for
Get seed from the following backup repository select that path is placed on product site it will be ok

i think it has problem because my backup will not copy on DR site

what is my problem????

You need to copy the backup to the target site first. Repository for replica metadata is used to store replicas metadata, not the backup used for seeding.

do i have to copy backup file manually to DR respository site?

Yes, this is what you need to do prior to perform replica seeding.
