Hi
Recently all the backup jobs of servers have entered the: "Waiting for backup infrastructure resources availability"-state.
They have been running succesfully for more than a year before that.
And the only change in the veeam Repository 9.5 have that a few extra clients (Windows agents) have been added.
The server only have 4GB of RAM is it too little to perform a off-host backup job?
What to do?

Re: Waiting for backup infrastructure resources availability
What number of concurrent tasks is specified on given repository? And what number of tasks are currently running?

Re: Waiting for backup infrastructure resources availability
Limit maximum current task is 4 task on the repository.
There is currently only one job running. The job has currently been in the "Waiting for backup infrastructure resources availability"-state for 2 hours.
But I can see in the task manager that 85% of the memory are been used - the biggest consumer is SQL Server(VEEAMSQL2012).

So, no VMs are currently being backed up, as the job just sits in idle state? What about proxy server? Do you have spare tasks there as well? Thanks.

Re: Waiting for backup infrastructure resources availability
This status has nothing to deal with RAM amount or load, what the scheduler is waiting for is the availability of task slots on proxy or repository.
