Hi all,
I just want to share a strange behavior that I have been face with Enterprise Manager recently, when trying to initiate a file restore.
The account I have used had the admin role, so I was able to see the needed VM.
The problem appeared when I have tried to select it, as the Enterprise Manager Console redirected me directly to the logon screen !
After opening an SR to the support, we have fund that this problem is related to overlapped roles.
In fact, my user was also a member of another AD group, on which I have configured smaller rights (Portal User, with specific VMWare tags to reduce the scope of the VMs).
It was not a problem for me to reconfigure these roles differently, to workaround this issue.
Perhaps would it be good to add something regarding this in the Online documentation ?
