Error-guest proccessing

Hello,
I got the below error while backing up a hyper-V Machine. However, it was working properly and i did no changes to it.

Guest processing skipped (check guest OS VSS state and hypervisor integration components version)
Failed to create snapshot (Microsoft Software Shadow Copy provider 1.0) (mode: Crash consistent) Details: Guest processing skipped (check guest OS VSS state and hypervisor integration components version)
Error: Guest processing skipped (check guest OS VSS state and hypervisor integration components version.

What is your Hyper-V version, and what is the OS installed in the VM?

Thanks for your reply. I am using Hyper-V 2012 R2 with OS Windows server 2012 R2 installed on the VM that has the problem.

One of the possible reason could be that host's and VM's Integration services versions do not match. Please check the versions and update if required. If that's not the case then please contact our support team directly for further investigation.
