Remove License from client server without server access?

We offboarded a client and no longer have access to their servers. How can I revoke a license that is being used without having the needed access?

I should mention that the license belongs to my company, not the client.

If I were you, I would just officially ask them to destroy the license and present you proof of destruction (written statement).

Or worst case, just do nothing and let the license expire? Since you provided your license to a client, you must be the VCSP and thus you could only have the rental license - but these are usually good for a few months only.
