Case Id 03579323 Synthetic full backup checkbox

Hi,
I am making backups to a B&R repository. In order to get regular synthetic full backups, I checked the box under Advanced, Create synthetic full backups periodically.
However, the wizard does not save my checkmark, and consequently, it does not make the full backups. Every time I enter the same dialog, the checkbox is gone.

Is there some trick to get this right?

please understand that the forum does not replace support. There is no "trick". It must work. To find the reason why it does not work for you, please continue working with support.

It tested it on my laptop. It works as expected.

Mm, I am not getting support for the free edition, because support is too busy.
Hannes, did you check this on the free edition? Perhaps this is a limitation of the free version? It does not state so in the version comparison page, but still.

Ok, thanks. Confusing, because the checkbox is there, it can be checked. It is just not persisted. It would be better if it is disabled.

Indeed it looks like a UI glitch. If the synthetic full backup option is enabled it wont work without license being installed. Thank you for reporting this issue. Cheers!
