Concept of license life cycle policy

Hello,

I confirmed the product life cycle.
How is this determined?

I think that it supported up to the one before version in other times.
For example, when the latest version is 9.5, you support 9.5 and 9.0.

Does the current policy support only the latest version?
For example, if version 10 is released, will only version 10 be supported?

Hi Yuya,

Each version has separate EoF and EoS dates. v9.5 already has a strict lifecycle that you can see in the attached document. Once v10 is released it's lifecycle will be added here as well.

Does that mean there are no clear policy rules?
When version 10 is released, do you decide to continue supporting 9.5 or discontinue support?

The support policy for v9.5 is stated in the document you've attached:

End of Fix: next GA date
End of Support: January 2022

Sorry. An EOS of 9.5 was written.
Is it correct to understand that the end of support of new version is decided when a new version is released, and there are no clear policy rules?
For example, two years since it was released.

In general, if you have an active support contract it does not really matter because you can upgrade to a new version at no additional cost and always have a version that is supported.

About the EoS for the next version: it will be made publicly available once released, but the general concept should not change and you can see the historical trend in the aforementioned table.
